Adele might be engaged to her boyfriend of only a few months, Simon Konecki

You know I’m worried about Adele’s boyfriend, right? He’s 14 years older than her. He’s rich – he’s old money. He’s well-educated. He runs his own non-profit. He’s a big bearof a man. And he’s allegedly still married to his first wife, although the situation may be more complicated than that. First, the British tabloids thought Simon Konecki was still married, but estranged from his wife, having been separated for several years, before he even met Adele. When that version was widely circulated, Adele took to her blogand said that Simon is not currently in a state of matrimony, and that he’s been divorced for four years. That all went down before Adele’s total Grammy-and-media domination in February. Simon was her date to the Grammys, and she’s talked about her love openly in several interviews. Maybe it’s all legit and no-drama. But my radar is still up with this guy.

Anyway, Adele is now a big enough celebrity that she gets her own crazy tabloid stories. I’m sure this story is just based on Adele’s previous loved-up interviews, but I’m still concerned. Did Simon propose? Is this dude really still married?

Adele was sporting a 10.57 carat De Beers ring at the Oscars and now sources says it’s her engagement ring and she’s tying the knot this year! The 23-year-old singer is reportedly head-over-heels in love with her boyfriend Simon Konecki and friends of the couple say Adele is itching to walk down the aisle!
“Adele and Simon feel like they’re already engaged,” a source tells Life & Style. “And she wants to get married this year. She’s been longing to settle down with a man who will treat her well. She feels Simon is the one — and doesn’t see the point in waiting.”
Adele purchased a sprawling $9.5 million country estate in West Sussex, England and that’s reportedly where she’ll hold a laid back ceremony.
“She’s not the type of girl who wants a massive church wedding, hundreds of guests and photo rights sold and tons of security,” the source continues. “She would want everyone to let their hair down and have fun without anything too posh.”
Although they haven’t been dating very long the source believes Simon, 36, and Adele are the perfect match!
“He is much more mature than any other guy she’s dated. He has life experience.”

If I came out of reading Adele’s Vogue interview having learned one thing about her, it’s that she LOVES older daddy-types. The girl has some daddy issues – not that it’s a huge deal, lots of girls do, and especially at that age too. So it’s not shocking to think that Adele will end up settling down with an older man who will “take care of her” to a certain extent. But what is shocking is that she’s still so… willing to give herself over to someone after only a few months of dating. This girl has had some rough breakups, and we’ve heard all about it. Still, she puts herself out there. She wears her heart on her sleeve. God, I hope this guy isn’t a d-bag.
